Beowulf Cluster

I used to have a beowulf cluster. It was 6 nodes of old machines stuck together for my own learning, nothing productive . Mine was running an old version of redhat with almost nothing installed. I used MPI and PVM on my cluster. Unfortunatly when I moved, I had to dispose of it .

If you wish to find out more about beowulf clusters, a good starting point is here. These days there is lots of clustering tools with redhat and problably other linux distributions. There are also a number of specialised distributions.

I hope someday to rebuild my cluster.
